Welcome to the Pleasant Ridge Preschool Programs

Pleasant Ridge is proud to offer a great preschool program for 3 year-olds at Alta Sierra Elementary.  Our preschool program aims to meet the needs of our families in our community by providing a rich, fun, nurturing environment that will prepare your children for TK and kindergarten while sending them home with a smile on their face everyday.

Pleasant Ridge Preschool follows the same calendar year as the elementary schools, but is divided into three 12-week sessions. The program meets Tuesday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 11:15 AM.  Families are able to choose to attend 2, 3, or 4 days a week.  Spaces are limited due to maintaining smaller class sizes.

Each class provides your child with an opportunity for social & emotional development as well as school readiness preparation. Each class is designed to meet the needs of children individually and as a whole group. Activities and curriculum are age and readiness appropriate. Pleasant Ridge Preschool has their own small playground for recess. Our preschoolers also have the opportunity to visit the library, garden and attend PE regularly.  When age appropriate, we are also able to attend school assemblies and other enrichment activities on campus.
