Good morning PRUSD families,
Yes, the flu season is upon us and we are seeing it in our schools with both students and staff. PRUSD had a total of 23% of the school community out yesterday due to illness. Attached is a flier that encourages how to mitigate the spread of the different types of respiratory colds. The schools will continue to clean and disinfect all contact areas. Each classroom and office will have hand sanitizer available for use. If your child has symptoms of a cold, please let the school know so they can accurately code why he/she is out. If at any time you would like to test for COVID-19, PRUSD still has many home tests that you can pick up at the school's offices.
